2257
What Is 18 U.S.C. § 2257
18 U.S.C. § 2257 is an American federal law. If you’re making porn or nude stuff, you gotta check IDs and keep records showing everyone’s legal age. You need to have those records ready if someone asks to see them.
The law targets anyone who creates, produces, or publishes explicit material. Photographers, filmmakers, websites that generate original adult content – all fall under its scope.

How This Law Applies to Us
It doesn’t – at least not directly.
2257 applies to producers of sexually explicit content. We don’t produce content. We don’t photograph anyone. We don’t film anything. We don’t commission, direct, or edit visual material of any kind.
This site is an escort directory. Advertisers upload their own photos and descriptions. We host what they submit. That’s a different legal category from production.
Our Platform Status
Under 2257, record-keeping obligations fall on primary and secondary producers. A primary producer creates the content. A secondary producer edits, compiles, or packages it for distribution.
We do neither. Our role is providing a platform where third-party advertisers publish their own listings. We don’t alter their content beyond basic formatting. We don’t compile it into new material. We display profiles as submitted.
This makes us a hosting platform, not a producer under the statute’s definitions.
Content Responsibility
Every photo and piece of media on this site comes from the advertiser who posted it. They created or obtained that content. They uploaded it voluntarily. They bear responsibility for its legality.
Posting a listing means you confirm the photos are yours and everyone in them is over 18.
Age Verification
We take age seriously. During our verification process, we confirm that advertisers are adults before their profiles go live. This applies to independent escorts and agency submissions alike.
Advertisers are required to maintain their own records proving the age of anyone appearing in their content. This obligation sits with the content creator – not with us as the hosting platform.
Reporting Concerns
Something look wrong? A profile that raises questions about age or content authenticity – report it. Use the contact page to flag the listing. Include the profile link and describe the concern.
We review flagged content promptly. Profiles that violate our terms or raise legitimate age concerns get taken down during investigation. If the issue is confirmed, removal is permanent.
